In our continuing efforts to make the Annual Meeting a rewarding and successful experience for our Exhibitors and Attendees, and in response to Exhibitor Requests, several exciting changes are planned for the 2010 Annual Meeting in New Orleans. |

Commercial Exhibit days have been reduced to three days with consistent hours: Sunday, May 23 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday, May 24 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM Tuesday, May 25 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Publishers’ Book Fair Exhibitors continue to have an extra day of sales: Saturday, May 22 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Unopposed Exhibit Hours are scheduled: Sunday through Tuesday 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
Exhibit Hall Reception open to all attendees on Monday, May 24, 12:30 to 1:30 pm to drive attendee traffic to the exhibit hall.
Live Presentations: The use of key opinion leaders or company employees for live activities to promote exhibitor products are permitted within exhibitor booth space. APA prefers a question and answer type format and book signings, but brief product detailing, lasting no longer than 10 minutes also will be allowed, followed by five minutes of questions and answers. Material presented in the exhibit hall is promotional and may not compete with the APA scientific program. NO CME credit may be awarded for any activity in the exhibit hall.
Exhibit Hall Advertising Spots and Exhibitor Executive Suites will be available for rent on the exhibit floor. These suites will provide an excellent location for intimate meetings with clients or private meetings with your staff. Several sizes will be offered. More details here.
Refreshments and Snacks may be distributed from any island booth (20’ x 20’ or larger)
To increase traffic, Coffee Lounges providing complimentary coffee for attendees will be centrally located in the Exhibit Hall. (Sponsorships are available here)
The popular and heavily utilized Cyber Café email station will be relocated to the exhibit hall to draw additional attendee traffic. (Sponsorships are available here)
Product Theaters, not competing with exhibit hours, will be available. Details are available here. Time slots are limited so reserve early.
